I'm Matt Griffin, and together with my partner, Talia Grose, we've spent a good amount of time—about 25 years—exploring the very same questions that might be on your mind. These are questions about meaning, purpose, and, crucially, how ancient insights can be realistically applied to everyday life; not just reserved for meditation or weekend spiritual getaways.
We certainly aren't gurus. We're fellow sojourners on this path, having journeyed far enough to have a sense of where some of the hidden opportunities lie.

Our explorations have led us from the dusty shelves of the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica in Amsterdam to various important sites in Egypt, from discussions at quantum physics events to the guidance of indigenous elders. The practices seemed better suited to monasteries rather than modern lifestyles. The wisdom felt either confined to academic institutions or watered down into vague generalities.
Thus, we embarked on a search for the original sources.
What we uncovered was transformative. The traditional wisdom wasn't, in fact, outdated. It had been reinterpreted inaccurately for our era. The understanding wasn't impractical; it simply required a connection to our contemporary ways of thinking.
